Having recently seen the Goodnight Loving share a bill with the Dex Romweber Duo, we can report that the Milwaukee band kicks ass live. In fact, we should have bought the vinyl as memento.

Anyway, after giving away a track earlier this year, the Goodnight Loving is back with another free rootsy power-pop jam, called “Doesn’t Shake Me.” It’s fast and loose, with bright, punchy guitars and an instantly memorable melodic hook. The song comes from the band’s recent album, “The Goodnight Loving Supper Club.”

Summer’s going fast, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better collection of songs to help you close it out with a bang.
