Girls guitarist Ryan Lynch helms side project as half of duo Dominant Legs

We know, we just referenced Bowie the other day, but he’s everywhere this year, including in the sound of Dominant Legs.

The San Francisco duo — featuring Girls guitarist Ryan Lynch and new pal Hannah Hunt, a former architecture student Lynch met when she moved back to California from New York — makes dance-ready pop music layered with gauzy keyboards, intertwining male-female vocals and, on free song “About My Girls,” the trebly-funk guitar sound of “Let’s Dance”-era Bowie.

The tune is from “Young at Love and Live,” Dominant Legs’ debut EP, which came out last week.
