After BBC6 premiered a song from the National’s forthcoming record this morning, a radio rip made its way around the Internet with lightning speed.

No need to rely on a secondhand recording, though: now the New York band is offering the song, “Bloodbuzz Ohio,” as a free download. The National’s new record, “High Violet,” is due May 11 in the U.S. on 4AD.
