As previously reported, the Drive-By Truckers release a new album, “The Big To-Do,” March 16. It’s a great record: loud, lean and ballsy as hell.

“This Fucking Job” proves our point: The first song the band has made available from the album is classic Truckers, with fierce guitars and pointed lyrics. It’s a ready-made anthem for countless work situations, from minimum-wage attempts to make ends meet to cubicle farming for soulless corporate overlords.

The band has announced an extensive tour (see the itinerary here), and several screening dates for a new Truckers documentary, “The Secret to a Happy Ending,” which shows Feb. 5-6 at the AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring, Md., and Feb. 28 at the Noise Pop Film Festival in San Francisco.
